Most tools wait for you to feed them. Cadence turns up already knowing.

Productivity tools start every morning empty. You configure them, fill them, then try to get useful work done around them. Cadence works the other way. By the time you sit down, the briefing is on screen, the day is planned, the open commitments are listed and the first focus block is ready. The tool starts where you finish.

Most tools
  • Wait for you to open them.
  • Ask you to type the day in.
  • Lose context the moment you switch app.
  • Treat focus time as a block anyone can override.
Cadence
  • Reads the day from your calendar, inbox, sent items and transcripts.
  • Builds the briefing while you sleep.
  • Surfaces the right work the moment a focus block starts.
  • Treats focus time as a first class resource the OS itself respects.
09:00  Two surfaces
Two surfaces

Built where the work actually happens.

Executive work runs across two surfaces. The exec lives on the Mac, between meetings, in flight, in focus mode. The EA lives on the web, coordinating, proposing, adjusting. Cadence ships both. Same data, same rhythm, different vantage point.

The routines an executive day actually needs. Already built in.

Most tools hand you an empty interface and ask you to wire it up. Cadence ships with the patterns already in place. Connect your systems, sign in, and the first morning briefing is on screen the next day.

01

Your day's briefing is rendered by 6am, built from calendar, inbox, sent items and yesterday's transcripts.

02

New asks from email are lifted into work items and routed to the right project.

03

Commitments you made last week are tracked against what you have actually done.

04

Focus blocks open with the right work already in front of you.

The routines live in Stratium. The reading and reasoning is handled by Claude, connected to your systems through MCP. Your data stays in your stack.

Two details most tools miss.

The difference between a tool that looks credible and a tool that is credible usually lives in the small details. Two we are proud of.

01 · Calendar intelligence

Cadence knows whose out-of-office is whose.

Executives are CC'd on every leave invite their team sends. Most calendar tools see those invites and assume the executive is the one on leave. Cadence reads Microsoft Graph's organiser flag and Google's organizer.self field, and reliably tells the difference between your own annual leave and an invite you happen to be on. Your focus allocation keeps running.

# incoming leave invite
organizer.self: false
attendee: "David Chen"
→ team member's leave. Focus kept.
02 · Time discipline

Focus blocks live in your timezone, not the server's.

Travelling executives and DST transitions used to drift the weekly grid by an hour. Not any more. Cadence stores every block against your IANA zone, configurable per principal, so a 12:30 BST focus block renders at 12:30 in Singapore, in Boston, and in London next week.

block: 12:30 // Europe/London
Singapore → 12:30
Boston → 12:30
London +1wk (DST) → 12:30
13:30  Strategic alignment
Strategic alignment

Annual pillars stay visible all the way down to today's first action.

Strategy fails not because the plan is wrong, but because the day drifts. Cadence carries your annual pillars into the weekly grid and into the work item screen, so every block you accept is visible against the strategy it serves. Drift shows up early, not at the quarter end.

  • 01

Set the pillars once a year, in plain language.

  • 02

Every work item links to the pillar it supports, or shows up as unaligned.

  • 03

The weekly review surfaces what percentage of your time landed where, against where you said it should.

15:00  How it works
How it works

A daily rhythm built around how executives actually work.

01

The day is built before you open it.

Overnight, Cadence pulls in your calendar, the inbox and sent items, yesterday's transcripts, and the commitments you made last week. The briefing is on screen by 6am. The EA can adjust it before you read it.

02

The Mac surfaces the right work at the right moment.

Open the menu bar, start a focus block, and the right work item is already there. macOS silences the rest. The HUD runs the session. You can Defer or Complete with one tap.

03

Nothing important slips.

At day's end, Cadence closes the loop. Completed work is logged, unfinished items carry forward against the right pillar, and commitments you made in email are tracked until they are answered.

16:30  The honest stack
The honest stack

Stratium is the operating layer. Claude is the engine. MCP is the connector.

We do not pretend to be an AI company. We are the executive operating layer built on top of the best one.

Stratium

The structure, the routines, the briefing, the work items, the focus surfacing, the discipline of an executive day.

Claude

The reasoning. Reads the calendar, the inbox, the sent items, the transcripts. Classifies, prioritises, drafts, summarises. Anthropic's safety and policy posture comes with it.

MCP

The open standard now adopted across ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and the wider industry. Your data stays in your systems. The protocol does not tie you in.

You will see the full security and data architecture on the Trust page. Most IT teams sign off in a single review.

Frequently asked
FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

What is Cadence?
Cadence is the executive operating layer from Stratium. It runs in the background of an executive's day, reads the systems they already use, and surfaces the right work at the right moment. It is built on Claude for reasoning and uses MCP for connectors.
Who is Cadence for?
Senior operating leaders (SVPs, MDs, CTOs, COOs, GMs, C-suite) and the EAs, Chiefs of Staff and team coordinators who support them. The Mac app is built for the executive in the moment. The web app is built for the EA running the day.
How is Cadence different from Asana, Todoist or Notion?
Those tools wait for the executive to feed them. Cadence reads the executive's calendar, inbox, sent items and transcripts and brings the work to the executive. The Mac app surfaces work at the moment a focus block begins. The web app is built around the EA workflow, not adapted from project management.
Do I need to change how I work?
No. Cadence connects to your existing calendar, email and document systems. Most executives find it useful in the first week.
How does the AI work?
Cadence uses Claude through Anthropic's API to read calendars, inboxes, sent items and transcripts, then classifies, prioritises and summarises the result into a daily briefing and work items. Connections to your systems use the Model Context Protocol, an open standard now also adopted by ChatGPT, Gemini and Microsoft Copilot. Your data stays in your stack.
Is my data secure?
Cadence runs on Microsoft Azure West Europe by default with complete tenant isolation, multi-factor authentication, and encryption in transit and at rest. Sovereign hosting is available for organisations that need it. SOC 2 Type II is in flight. Full detail on the Trust page.
What calendar systems do you support?
Microsoft 365, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and any system that supports the ICS standard. Multiple sources per user. Both read and write.
Does Cadence work on Windows or Linux?
The web app at app.stratiumhq.com runs in any modern browser on any operating system. The native Cadence Mac app is macOS only at present. A Windows companion app will follow.
Can an EA manage multiple executives?
Yes. EAs can be assigned to multiple executives and switch between them. Senior EAs can see every executive in the organisation. Each principal's plan, preferences and strategic context remain separate.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan includes a 14 day free trial. No card required. Full access to the features in your chosen tier.
